This question is one that we field all the time and fortunately, the answer is sooner than you may think. There are some variables that need to be taken into account when it comes to your profession, but the typical amount of time needed away from work after a hair transplant procedure is around 1-3 days. There are some fairly common techniques that you can use when styling your hair after the procedure that can help you to conceal any obvious signs of having had the procedure, which we will go over with you during your consultation.
Please note that if your job requires any kind of strenuous activity that you will need to take extra precaution and possibly more time away. Working out should be avoided for at least the first couple of weeks and anything that is comparable as well to ensure that your transplanted hairs take a firm hold in your scalp.
