Michael started losing his hair in 1988. He had a procedure done in 1989 but the hair that was transplanted didn't look natural when it grew in. He'd had hair plugs done which was the standard of the day then. In 1994 he had a corrective procedure done by PAI Medical to soften and improve his hairline. You can see the before hairline pictures below showing the hair plugs and then a recent picture taken in 2010 of his hairline. You'll see how natural it looks now and is showing a little gray now.
